Received donation of HK$10 million from Dong’s Foundation and officially changed its name to CY Tung Shipping and Logistics Research Institute (Sino-US Global Logistics Institute)

The Dong Foundation also donated Dong Haoyun Building (Zhong Yuan) and Dong Haoyun Shipping Museum to train outstanding logistics and marine transportation talents.

Established the Shenzhen Branch

Established Guangdong Automotive Logistics Engineering Technology Research Center

With the support of the Shenzhen Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the “Guangdong Province Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Engineering Technology Research Center” have been established to study the analysis and design transportation logistics management platform of automotive parts management system and the distribution of parts and components etc. key scientific and technical issues.

20th Anniversary Celebration & Institute Renamed

The 1st Strategic Advisory Committee Meeting & the 20th Anniversary Conference with Major Academic Events of the Institute was convened. The Institute was officially renamed the Tung Chao Yung Institute of Intelligent Management and Logistics (Sino-US Logistics Institute).
